CHARITY PARTNER ~ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School

Rock The Crossroads has selected Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School as its charity partner and a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the school's music program.

Founded in 1915, Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) Catholic School serves Kindergarten through 5th grades. OLG School strives to provide an education in the Catholic tradition. The school is a community based, multicultural, Spanish integrated institution with affordable quality education that promotes student development and leadership is a safe learning environment. OLG has a long history of Catholic education in the Hispanic community of Kansas City, MO, where many local leaders and professionals first learned to read and write.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School, in partnership with parents, provides a community-based, multicultural, affordable, quality education to children in the Greater Kansas City area. OLG honors the heritage of its students by integrating the Spanish language and celebrating traditions, customs, and holidays. The school seeks to provide high academic standards, discipline, and leadership, which encourage students to achieve their full potential in a spiritual environment. Children are taught self discipline in a setting that enables learning, and teaches responsibility and respect. The focus of the curriculum is literacy development and computer education.
